700 trade visitors from the region are expected, who will be able to discuss their concerns and current topics with around 60 exhibitors. The RegioDay bundles the best features of the national SOLIDS Dortmund trade show and brings the essence of bulk solids technologies directly to the region of local users. Schempp continues: “In times of Corona, the exchange between suppliers and users has become a challenge. Many companies have not been able to meet live for over a year. The SOLIDS RegioDay Karlsruhe offers trade visitors the optimal opportunity to get back in touch with companies.”

Numerous renowned companies on board as exhibitors

The concept has been very well received by the industry. Numerous renowned companies will be presenting their solutions on site. Among the exhibitors are Aerzener Maschinen-fabrik, Ebro Armaturen GmbH, FB Ketten, Fike Deutschland, Haver & Boecker OHG, K.U.K.T Kautschuk- und Kunststoff-Technologie GmbH, Kreisel GmbH & Co. Competence partner Fraunhofer Institute IOSB enriches trade show with lecture program

In the morning of the RegioDay Karlsruhe, there will be a lecture panel from the Fraunhofer Institute IOSB on the topic of “Sensor-based sorting of bulk solids material”. The trade show thus gains a strong competence partner for systems engineering, optronics and image evaluation. Developing and evaluating new types of vision systems. Optimal use and networking of sensors. Process and evaluate the resulting data streams. On this basis, efficiently supporting people in making well-founded decisions, optimizing processes and intelligently controlling autonomous systems: All this is part of the institute’s core competence.

It is important to us that everyone involved feels comfortable even under the new conditions and achieves their trade show goals. We are in close contact with the venue and the responsible authorities in the federal state regarding all protective and hygiene measures.” The concept is based on the CoronaSchVO hygiene and infection standards issued for trade shows.
